  1. Bad Deal ..We will all pay the final billion plus cost. Mandel, Katz and crienos get all the benefits and PROFITS. We get the bill. Northlands had the only viable proposal for the taxpayers. Mandel and Katz don’t get what they want so they rejected it. How about us Taxpayers? Don’t we deserve a good deal too!!!! I have been to San Diego where the city gave the Padres owners a deal like Katz/Mandel want. It is a mess in San Diego. The special levy zone is dead in San Diego. Nobody will pay extra to be by a ballpark. When you can be at the edge of the zone for free. Thus, there is no levy money to pay for the ball park. Taxpayers on the hook. I was told that this arrangement only benfits the owners and not the taxpayers.I want a fair deal for the taxpayers. Not a deal for Mandel and Katz to fleece the city.

  3. I also noticed that BET is trying to step their game up some. I watched all day yesterday as well and was pleasantly surprised with their movie selections. Yeah, The Game is about to go bye-bye. Tear. I really like that show. I hate Baldwin Hills (liked it better on MTV as “The Hills”) but looking forward to Harlem Heights. Perhaps BET’s version of MTV’s “The City?” Lol.

  4. Our vote is for Kumbi!!! Carol is a wonderful person & has helped out so many others with their diabetic critters & without a doubt made a wonderful choice in vetrinarian & staff members who gave Kumbi all their love. Tru Heros for sure!

  5. Let us be just. The Egyptians thought that the gods could be compelled, but both Greeks and Romans prosecuted such matters as impiety. One famous philosopher defended himself on the grounds that his tuletary god performed various apparent acts of magic on his own initiative. There were certainly those who tried magic, but that it was accepted by all pagans is not true. The difference is, of course, that there but one God, the Father Almighty, from whom all results come either mediately or immediately. Attempting to get them from a false god is the difference.
